Superdrug/Asda Haul

Hey! Got a haul for you today.

I recently ordered some things from Superdrug online, and got a couple of things from Asda also.

Lets start with Superdrug, this is where the majority of it all is from.

(All the products I bought with my own money and all the prices will be down below)
To be quite honest, I love this moisturiser. It is brilliant if you have oily skin and only want something light, but still hydrating. This hasn't broke me out at all, and is dead gentle on your skin too. Simple have a really good skincare range, so I would definitely go and check them out, also if you are on a budget, like me, this is really good too.
MUA have a brilliant range of eye shadows and palettes at a budget price. They are brilliantly pigmented, however I would would go for the single shades instead of the palette because the 12 shades in the palette aren't as pigmented. Starting from top left, that's shade 17, which is matt. I just use this all over the lid colour. Doesn't give much colour on my eyelids, but may on a darker skin tone. Top right is shade 1, which is a pearl. I use this as a inner corner and eyebrow highlight only. It opens up your eyes so much and it catches the light on the brow bone nicely. The bottom left is shade 20, which is a matt black. I use this to line my lash line instead of using liquid liner, I find it looks way more natural and less harsh. Again this is amazingly pigmented and for £1 they are ideal for when your just starting out.

Next, we have 2 blushers. One is from MUA and the other is from George in Asda. The MUA one is matt and the George one has shimmer in it. They are both hugely pigmented and just add the right amount of colour to your cheeks. The MUA blush is in shade 'Bubblegum'. This sort of matches the colour quite nicely as it is a bubblegum pink, whereas the George blush is called 'little gem'. I guess the gem part relates to the sparkle, I tend to where this as a highlight to because it does have a lot of shimmer in there.
Base. Collection lasting perfection 16 hour ultimate wear concealer.
We all know the rave about this concealer, because quite frankly, I find, it works brilliant for me. It lasts 16 hours without being set with powder, covers anything blemishes to under eye circles. I think its brill under the eyes, it doesn't crease at all and the nasty under eye circles stay covered all day. Mine is in shade fair 1, yes I know I'm pale, but I find other concealers to dark. It is really worth going out and purchasing this, it's cheap and the formulation is fab. This has to be my 6-7th tube of this, so
defo go and have a look.

EYES - Rimmel Scandaleyes shadow paint in Rich Russet.
I absolutely love this eyeshadow! It stays all day, even if you have oily eyelids. It's the perfect sort of coppery, bronzey brown paired with a matt brown through the crease it's lovely. You can either wear this on its own, or with eye shadow on top. Personally I wear it on its own because it's shimmery enough! They set very quickly and the applicator is ok, I'm not really keen on sponge applicators, especially when you are working on other people, but if you are just starting out, I think these are perfect.

Maxfactor Wild Mega volume mascara

This mascara is ok if you have long eyelashes, but if you have short it doesn't really lengthen them at all it just gets all clumpy, don't tell me wrong it is brilliant for volumising  but for lengthening its not that great. The wand is a cloth bristle wand with a sort of figure of 8 shape. I find this is good for getting into the outside lashes giving you the most volume.

George Lash Xtend Mascara

I love this! It gives me the most length and a tiny bit of volume. It is a plastic wand which is my preferred wand for applying mascara. You can get right between the lashes with this, which I love. The only thing I don't really like is that if the slightest bit of water touches it, black is down your face, so if you're going to buy this I would defo get the waterproof version, but apart from that its great!

LIPS- Maybelline Baby Lips and Rimmel Apocalips Lip Laquer
I love the Baby Lips range. The clear ones are so moisturising, whereas the pigmented ones just give a swipe of colour to lips without being over powering. This is in shade 'Pink Punch'. This smells amazing and it doesn't just lie on your lips, which I find most lip balms do. When you wind the balm up it looks like the lipsticks you used to get in the magazines when you were little, but as soon as it touches your lips, man it's lush!

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Laquer in Celestial
I didn't like these at first, because the one I had just sort of separated on my lips, but this one I love! It's the sort of pinky nude colour but you can get away with it being bright too. The staying power is amazing and it isn't drying at all! The only thing I don't really like is colour range, there doesn't seem to be a lot of colours, but if they do bring out more I may have to go and buy some!
